This module starts to step up the complexity just a little bit. By utilizing numbers up to 12, the students will learn the concept of “carry-forward” and “borrow number”.

After this deck, the student will fully understand the concepts of addition and subtraction. Now it is just a matter of practice and they will be a superstar at addition and subtraction.

This mastery will lead to a boost in confidence and an eagerness to learn the next concepts of math.

This deck introduces mental calculation. The previous card decks teach the concepts and used physical movement of the cards and numbers. This deck introduces how to move the numbers in your mind without physical movement or counting with your fingers.

Mental Addition (1-6) teaches kids to mentally calculate simple addition equations in their mind.  At first they may need to use their fingers, but with practice, this deck will teach kids to work out the math equations mentally.

Your brain is a muscle.  In order to strengthen your brain muscle you need to work it out.  Practice, repetition, and introducing new concepts to challenge your brain will make it stronger.

This module introduces how to move the numbers in your mind without physical movement or counting with your fingers. In a sense it is making the brain work harder.

This module is very similar to the mental addition module. However, many kids find subtraction just a little bit more difficult than addition.

But actually it’s not! If you practice these exercises for 10 minutes a day, the student will start to have the same confidence for subtraction that they do for addition.
